finally

i have been officially welcomed into the enchanted land of employment. you know the place. you go there for a set amount of hours per day and do whatever you have been hired to do. then you go home to your "real" job where you support and maintain life for individuals in your care. after a minimal amount of sleep you get up and do it all over again. for two weeks. the reason i do this...at the end of these two weeks a wonderful thing they call a "paycheck" gets direct deposited into our checking account. like magic. almost. and then we get to do all kinds of extravagant things with this money! like make a house payment! fun! electricity and gas and water are nice too! don't forget that sweet little car payment! oops, there's two of those! my personal favorite...groceries. gee, i hope i don't get too spoiled.

i am being totally sarcastic. i am so grateful for the opportunity i have to work and contribute to our household. i love the type of work i have been hired to do and am very excited to start. during my time of unemployment i have learned many things that i would not have otherwise. i have realized the importance of living frugally and within your means. i truly understand the need for building a food storage supply and the peace that comes from that.

Quotes

Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity.-Margaret Nadauld
